Each email address can only be linked to one Docnote account. If you need to register a second account, you don't necessarily need a brand new email address — most major email providers support a simple workaround known as the "plus trick."
How the plus trick works:
- Take your existing email address and add a + symbol followed by any word before the @ sign.
- For example, if your email is jane@gmail.com, you can register a second Docnote account using jane+docnote@gmail.com.
- All emails sent to the modified address will still be delivered to your original inbox — nothing changes on the email provider's end.
Supported email providers include:
- Gmail
- Outlook
- Most other major email providers
